Posted On: 03/29/2023 I went there today because my front tooth filling fell out last night. I called to find out if they took walk in patients. I should have seen the red flag when the receptionist told that they do not encourage walk ins unless you had s scheduled appointment. She made no attempt to schedule an appointment and hurriedly got off the phone. I called back and told the male receptionist my problem and asked if I could get an appt today. He made an appt for 5 pm after getting my personal and insurance information.
I showed up at the appointment time.was asked for insurance an Id and Filled out information wrote why I was there. Multiple X-rays were done then I was seen by the dentist for 5 seconds. He walked out then someone walked in and said he said you need s filling. 20 mins later the office manager walked in snd said that the filling couldn’t be done today because the dentist had other patients. She said today was a consult. I can schedule an appointment to get the tooth filled. I was them rushed out of the room. No effort was made to even schedule an appointment even for the next day. I am supposed yo stay with s hole in my tooth indefinitely? When that was addressed to her she didn’t even check but just said “we don’t have any appointments till till maybe maybe next week”. That was not genuine. So I wasted 1 hour just to be told what I already know that the filling had yo be replaced.
Something is wrong with that picture. My insurance will be billed for all of those X-rays and a consultation and nothing was done to help me. I was dismissed and no attempt was made to help me. I had no issues with them. I sat and waited where I was asked to sit and followed all instructions that were given. I went to Dr smith for many years who previously owned this office before he retired and had no problems. I thought I would give these new owners a try. Never again!!!! I’m wondering if this is a scam this interaction was very strange. Lindell Q
